This is the Way the Signal Output Works:

  • The sensors detect the cadence and pedaling direction.
  • Channel A issues a square wave signal. The subsequent signal in channel B is electrically phase-shifted by 90°. Backwards pedaling can easily be detected, whereby channel A follows channel B with a phase shift of 90°.
  • Up to 72 impulses for evaluating rising and falling flanks
